make chandelier2

Making of a chandelier part -2
12. To create metal holder draw two circles and tree lines like this.

13. Right click on all of them and choose Convert to Editable Spline from convert to option.

14.Pick one shape, under Geometry properties in Editable Spline click on attach and select rest of the shapes. Now, instead of 5 separated shapes you have one.

15. Delete these 4 segments and weld vertex that I marked with red circles.

16.Select line.In rendering parameters check Enable in Renderer, and Enable in Viewport. Set radial thickness to small value. Use same method to create rest of the shapes, but in same shapes instead of radial check rectangular thickness.

17. Create line > apply lathe to create top part of chandelier center holder.

18. Go to Mirror option and follow instructions from next picture.

19.Create chamfered cylinder in the middle of these two parts.

20. Group all objects except these last tree (chandelier center holder), and align pivot point to chamfered cylinder.

21. Hold shift and rotate  group for 72 degrees. Choose Number of copies to 4.

22. Here is reference for rest of the chandelier.

23. Read on these site Making of light bulb to create them. There is rendering setup too. Here is my example. Have fun.

Thank you.
